The Humble Giants

Wednesday Nights 20:00 Israel Time

The Lives & Teachings of the Breslover Chassidim who brought Rebbe Nachman to the world

Many wonder, how did Breslov and the teachings of Rebbe Nachman find their way to the hearts and souls of the masses, on levels that are difficult to explain? In the mid 20th century, Breslov Chassidim numbered in the fee hundreds, if that. What took place last century?

In this course, we get to meet the Humble Giants, the pillars of the previous generation of Breslover Chassidim, who will help understand the answer to these questions.

Some of the tzaddikim we will learn about and from are R’ Avraham Chazan, R’ Avraham Shternhartz, R’ Levi Yitzchak Bender, R’ Ben Tzion Apter, R’ Hirshc Leib Lipel, Rabbi Rosenfeld, R’ Yisroel Karduner, R’ Shmuel Horowitz, R’ Shmuel Shapira,R’ Yitzchak Breiter,  R’ Gedalia Kenig, R’ Eliyahu Chaim Rosen, R’ Nachman Shotek, R’ Alter of Teplik, R’ Yona Level, R’ Nosson Barski, R’ Dovid Shechter, R’ Avraham Elchonon Spector and many more.

We go into their lives, trace their steps from all over Russia, Ukraine, Poland and Eretz Yisrael. We will learn their Torahs, while looking into their eyes.

These were giants, giants amongst giants, who held themselves to be absolute nobodies, but who were privileged to have been connected to the light and healing of this generation’s therapist, Rebbe Nachman of Breslov.

The Rebbes We Have Never Heard Of

The Lives & Teachings of The Chassidic Masters who were killed in the WWII

“The Rebbes We Never Heard Of” was a recent Yom Hashoah program, spending an hour learning of lesser known Chassidic Masters who were killed in the Shoah.

We did not expect the outpouring of interest and desire for more. So that’s exactly what we did.

These are Rebbes whose lives were cut short in the horrible destruction which occurred in World War 2. Many of these giants had the chance to leave and flee, but would;’t dream of leaving their flock. Some died from tremendous heartbreak, after witnessing what their eyes saw or what their hearts felt was upcoming. They leave behind them tremendous legacies of Torah, of dreams and hope for Am Yisrael. In this course, we will be learning about their lives, their lineage and their teachings. All we ask is that you look into their eyes while we learn about them.

Some of these tzaddikim we may have heard of, but their stories are unknown.
